Jason Valentin is a Bronx, New York-based television producer, creator, cinematographer, editor, and former audio engineer. He is the Creator and Executive Producer of Next Sound Live, an independent music television series built to give emerging artists a professional platform for live performance and exposure.

Jason began his creative career in audio engineering, developing a strong foundation in music production and sound. His work later expanded into cinematography and video editing, where he developed hands-on experience in camera operation, visual storytelling, post-production, and Final Cut Pro.

Bringing his technical and creative experience together, Jason transitioned into producing and ultimately created Next Sound Live. What began as an independent production has grown into a multi-season television series airing on BronxNet Television and streaming on YouTube.

As Creator and Executive Producer, Jason oversees the vision and continued development of Next Sound Live—from artist selection and production planning to crew leadership, post-production, branding, distribution, and the overall direction of the series.

A self-taught television professional, Jason built his experience by working across the production process rather than limiting himself to one role. His background in audio, camera work, editing, and producing gives him a comprehensive understanding of how a television production comes together from concept to final broadcast.

At the heart of his work is a commitment to creating opportunities for independent artists and building a television platform where emerging talent can be seen, heard, and taken seriously.
