For J. Grey, storytelling is about knowing where to look when everyone else is watching the spotlight. High energy, endlessly curious, and always in motion, her role may change, but the mission doesn’t: find the story, get the shot, and keep the show moving.

J. Grey Knight is a photojournalist, producer, on-camera host, and the Stage Manager for Next Sound Live. As founder of Knight Light Media, she has built her career around capturing the moments both onstage and behind the scenes that bring entertainment and culture to life.

Her work spans press conferences, professional wrestling, fashion, red carpets, live entertainment, and television production, with coverage including WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, New York Fashion Week, and Bronx Fashion Week. Her photography has also been featured in gallery exhibitions, and she is a Getty Images contributor.

A graduate of the NYU–Rolling Stone Modern Journalism program and an Access Producer with BronxNet, J. Grey has continued developing her craft through mentorship with celebrity and fashion photographer Natalie Kogan and on-camera training with veteran broadcaster Gary Axelbank. At Next Sound Live, she brings those worlds together, helping keep artists, crew, cues, and timing moving through the organized chaos before the cameras roll.
